GRoWing for Stage and Screen

Several participants in our GRoW @ The Wallis programs have recently had exciting opportunities on stage and screen.

Jai’Len Josey participated for several summers in Broadway Dreams at The Wallis.  This is an international musical theater training program where aspiring artists can work with Broadway professionals.  She was cast in our recent production of “Witness Uganda,” where she participated in the ensemble and served as understudy for Ledisi in one of the lead roles.

Two members of one of our Community Partners – the Stop Senior Scam acting troupe – earned parts as supernumeraries in our recent production of “Inspector Calls.”  Jimi Poulin and Rosa Martinez loved the chance to be part of such a wonderful production.

Several young artists from The Miracle Project have had roles on the television series “Atypical.”  The Wallis is delighted to see more authentic casting of actors with autism and other disabilities.
